Ex-Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has reacted to Chelsea‘s remarkable victory over Manchester City yesterday which earned them their second UCL trophy.
Chelsea contained Man City last night by sitting deep and take their chances when they come. Kai Havertz’s first-half goal at Estadio do Drogao was enough for Tuchel to complete a hat trick of wins over Pep Guardiola.
So during Arsene Wenger’s interview with media last night, he said Chelsea has defeated Man City three times in the past, so it’s not new as it strengthened Chelsea’s belief and made City a bit insecure
On how Chelsea played and secure the victory last night, Wenger said what Tuchel did well was playing Mount and Havertz more inside defensively, so City could never find a way through the middle and they had to go wide, where Chelsea was strong. The city had a big tactical problem that they could never sort out. Chelsea stopped them very well.

Nonetheless, Tuchel has done a great job at the club in less than six months as he took them from 9th on the EPL table to make a top-four finish, and last night they became Championship of Europe.
