The NPC Adhoc Staff Supervisors and Enumerators have been anxiously awaiting the LGA Level Training Date, which is intended to prepare them for the 2023 Population and Housing Census Exercise.
As a result, a speculative message has been floating around the internet claiming that the NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerators and Supervisors Training will begin on March 1, 2023.
“2023 PHC! To All Prospective Enumerators and Supervisor!
The following activities are scheduled as a part of the 2023 PHC Activities:  On March 7, 2023, LGA Level Contact Training on Building Numbering and Household Listings All Council Wards are urged to arrive on time. Location: LG Secretariat, NPC Office.
08-12 March 2023 ELECTION BREAK 13-17 March 2023 Field Work on Building Numbering and Household Listing “Please Bring Your Android Phones to Use During Training!!!”
However, the National Populations Commission has been informed by a contact that such information is false.
The NPC confirmed that it is in possession of a proposal for the schedule of the LGA Level Training for Supervisors and Enumerators, but the commission has yet to set a new date for the training.
The successful enumerators and supervisors must receive an invitation from the National Population Commission to prepare in advance of the LGA Level Training schedule.
Remember that Mrs. Evelyn Arinola Olanipekun, Director of the Census at the National Population Commission, had previously announced that the LGA Level Training for Enumerators and Supervisors, which was originally scheduled to begin on Monday, February 6, 2023, would no longer take place as planned.
However, Mrs. Olanipekun advised that Trainers and Trainees should continue to communicate via their respective class WhatsApp platforms due to the fact that all Trainers and Trainees will need to continue with the self-learning sessions and that a virtual classroom training will be held shortly prior to the LGA level training.
“Good evening, all,” and a sincere thanks for the progress made thus far.
As the state level training comes to an end, you might find it helpful to know that the enumeration timelines have been changed. As a result, the LGA level training for enumerators and supervisors won’t start on Monday, February 6th, 2023; a new date will be announced soon.
“In addition, trainers and trainees should maintain communication on their respective class WhatsApp platforms due to the fact that all trainers and trainees will be required to continue with self-learning sessions and that a virtual classroom training will be held shortly prior to the LGA level training.”
