After receiving the Certificate of Return, Tinubu declares, “My Heart, My Door Are Open”

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the incoming president, has stated that his heart and door are open to all Nigerians, including opposition parties, and that he wants them to work with him to build a better country.

Tinubu stated that politics must give way to nation-building after he and the Vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima, received their certificates of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday afternoon.

Tinubu stressed that all Nigerians must agree to participate in the upcoming task in order for progress to be made, and that his victory should not be taken personally.

I will work every day for you, the people, especially the young people. I will do everything in my power to improve Nigeria.

It cannot simply be a victory for one man or even one party for this to be a victory at all. All Nigerians who are dedicated to building a better society must celebrate this victory.
